CXWholesale is based in Telford (in rarely sunny Shropshire), we are owned by a technology company and originally got into retailing as a pure fluke (but that's another story). Several years of retailing made us realise just how important good, reliable suppliers. If your experience is anything like ours, then you will have found they are like gold dust.

As retailers our needs were fairly simple, we wanted to order products of good merchantable quality at a fair price and pass them on to our customers at a similarly good price.

The biggest thing that we really wanted confidence in, was that if we ordered something from a wholesalers website that's what would turn up in a reasonable time. Unfortunately, the realities were very different from our expectations and we often placed an order in good faith only to find that when it turned up several days later, half of the items were out of stock and the search for alternatives then had to begin all over again having wasted a lot of valuable time.

As time went by, we decided to risk importing our own goods (not for the faint hearted) and in that way we started to take control of our supply chain.

We sensed by the number of customers who approached us asking if we sold to the trade that others were having the same trouble we did so we set up CXWholesale with the intent of offering quality products at fair prices to bona fide traders and by seting our systems up so that no customer could order something we couldn't supply.
